Special Education Behavioral Management Assistant at Cherry Park Elementary School of Language Immersion

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, college background preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with students with autism of various ages in one-to-one and/or small group settings
  • Cooperative, able to work with supervising teachers and other staff members
  • Skills in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
  • Skills in data collection and maintaining required documentation of student performance
  • Demonstrates excellent independent self-management and organizational skills in the workplace
  • Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
  • Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
