Minimum Qualifications:

SC certification in Early Childhood or Elementary

Experience working with elementary school students preferred

Demonstrated success motivating students who have had limited success in Mathematics and/or Language Arts

Knowledgeable of effective remediation techniques in Mathematics and/or Language Arts

Knowledgeable of computer technology and its application to instruction

Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies

Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public

Outstanding references from current and former supervisors

Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
