Patient Services Representative will be responsible for day-to-day visitor and patient interaction and assistance. PSP will provide and atmosphere of security and safety, patrolling the premises, ensuring safety and security.


1) Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business at facilities, controls access to facilities

2) Provides an atmosphere of security and safety; patrols building and grounds

3) Monitors all activity in and outside of building; monitors entrances; ensures premises are locked and secured; monitors alarm and security systems

4) Interacts with visitors/patients providing customer service; responds rapidly to security emergencies; de-escalates high-stress or problematic situations

5) Calls and interacts with law enforcement when needed; observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to management

6) Provides assistance when requested by medical or nursing staff; help patients into and out of their cars; escorts patients as needed

7) Provides administrative support, such as taking and delivering messages and mail; accepts packages; performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient safe operation of the organization; assists with special projects as necessary


1) Must complete high school

2) Ability to use Microsoft Word for basic correspondence

3) Ability to adapt to specific environment and duties


1) Must have neat and legible handwriting

2) Must be able to interact with patients courteously and calmly

3) Ability to communicate well with the public


Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.


Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Must have high manual dexterity

Able to reach above shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn


Works well with patients in a generally comfortable environment office. Employees must possess the following physical requirements:

1) Must be able to hear and communicate with clients and staff on and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff

2) May be exposed to contagious/infectious diseases


Occasionally you might be instructed to travel away from your primary work site to work at another site. Please be reminded that you are an employee of Community Medicine Foundation, Inc., and you are expected to be available to work at any of the locations. Personal extenuating circumstances that would prohibit you from traveling to another site may be taken into consideration.
