Credit and Collection Manager

Basic Job Functions:

Skyline Steel, LLC is seeking a Credit and Collections Manager to join our team. This position is located in Rock Hill, SC. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•    Protecting the assets of the company and maximize cash flow through collection of accounts receivables
•    Improving cash management and minimizing bad debt expense
•    Interpreting financial statements and assessing financial stability of customers, to ensure proper customer credit limits and exposure
•    Understanding, managing, and maintaining lien and bond rights processes
•    Responsible for monthly and quarterly close process for all of Accounts Receivable, including but not limited to reporting and timely cash applications
•    Leading and managing team of Credit Analysts and Cash Collections

The Credit and Collections Manager will be an integral member of the Skyline team, bringing experience with credit and collections, as well as management experience. This role will work cross-departmentally as well as within the Finance leadership team. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 years’ experience in Credit and Collections
  • 2 years’ supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA
  • Credit and collections experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industries
  • Experience with multiple operating locations, including Canada and Mexico
