Job Description

Industrial Test Systems, Inc (ITS) is seeking dynamic a Product Manager for the Rock Hill, SC office to promote one of the most important developments in water quality testing this century which connects water testing to the smartphone – NSF Certified!

ITS is a leading Rock Hill, SC manufacturer of instruments and chemistries designed to test water and coolant analytes. It develops innovative products, many covered by U.S. and worldwide patents, to industries such as municipal water treatment, food & beverage, craft brewing, trucking & automotive, fresh & marine aquaria, pool & spa, education, and medical diagnostics globally with offices in the US and UK.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Bring an enthusiastic, go-getter attitude with you every day and contribute to the overall success of the ITS Team
  • Manage accounts and generate sales in various assigned markets by calling and emailing contacts from trade shows, cold calling, referrals, and various other lead sources
  • Conduct domestic inside phone sales based in Rock Hill, SC office with occasional customer and prospect visits
  • Travel to conferences and tradeshows throughout the USA where you will present products through exhibitions, educational seminars, customer visits, and more
  • Organize and pack sales & marketing materials as needed for conferences and tradeshows
  • Implement promotional activities, prepare and deliver presentations on products and solutions offered, and coordinate and participate in industry events and conferences such as trade shows, nationally
  • Develop and introduce highly successful sales tools, interweaving the company’s profitability objectives with its high standards of customer service
  • Analyze the potential of a client and oversee the creation of programs and other tools that will help them and ITS be successful in domestic and/or international markets
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure all efforts are working to a common goal of success within defined markets
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well with other people to pitch marketing campaigns to corporate executives
  • Demonstrate proficiency with all required aspects of the ACT CRM, Word, Outlook, Excel, and other required software programs (CRM training provided)
  • Assist and compete in all sales and marketing projects/contests
  • Maintain overall professional appearance of your work station, department, and other areas as required
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports as required


  • 1 year of inside and/or outside sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven personality that takes initiative and can work autonomously
  • Strong time management and project management skills
  • Able to work well with and contribute to positive team environment to ensure overall success
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs without stress or injury
  • Must have valid REAL ID compliant driver’s license or passport required for domestic air travel
  • Must speak be able to communicate chemistry related terminologies
  • Degree in Chemistry or related field a plus

Salary & Benefits

  • $35,000 – $50,000.00 /year DOE

  • Attend domestic tradeshows and conferences in various cities such as Chicago, Orlando, Las Vegas, New Orleans, etc. as required
  • Occasional customer and prospect visits
