Guest Services Coordinator

Full Time/Seasonal – September thru February

Under regular supervision, the Coordinator is responsible in assisting with Guest Services daily operations, specifically the use of system software to process registrations, membership admin and point of sale transactions. Greets and responds to members and visiting guests in an efficient and courteous manner. Must be proficient in computer skills needed to help manage membership database, process financial transactions and complete end-of shift balancing reports. Manages constituent records, membership renewal, reporting, and facilitates follow-up procedures. Delivers quality customer service through the guest services desk, guest engagement and special event opportunities.  Some evenings and weekends required.


Operates computer software to process memberships, program registrations and point of sale transactions
Assists in membership admin; membership cancelations, credit card decline notices, data management and upkeep, assists in constituency records upkeep, detail oriented
Performs opening and closing cash procedures in an efficient and orderly manner; utilizes proper cash handling processes
Provides excellent customer service in a tactful, professional and pleasant manner; both in person, over the phone, and over email
Supports all Greenway programs and understands scheduled events and activities; communicates with members on all offerings; provides tours to prospective members
Maintains work areas and lobby area in a clean and organized manner
Communicates any problems, concerns or suggestions to supervisor in a professional and timely manner
Other duties as assigned

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of databases

Ability to function effectively under stress-related factors consistent with the position
Blackbaud experience preferred
Ability to be trained on new techniques and jobs

College Diploma or equivalent preferred

First aid/CPR certifications; will train

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in an office and recreation environment.  The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
