Dishwasher

OVERVIEW

Under supervision the Dishwasher will ensure that dishware for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.

KEY FUNCTIONS

•    Ensues work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to food safety

•    Washes all wares including pots, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers

•    Daily setup and breakdown of dish areas. Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned area with necessary dishes and utensils

•    Support kitchen team with daily cleaning tasks while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation

•    Assist in daily food preparation and order storage/organization

•    Preforms routine cleaning of equipment as needed (i.e. hood cleaning, safety inspection)

•    Frequently wash hands and/or wear gloves

•    Cleans trash receptacles

•    Develop and maintain a working knowledge and interest in RH food and beverage offerings

•    Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and standards set by the Company

•    Other duties as assigned

•    Knowledgeable of DHEC, ServSafe and SC laws and regulations

•    Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy and physically demanding environment

•    Ability to deliver great customer service

•    Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills

•    Ability to work effectivity in a team environment and maintain effective working relationships

•    Ability to complete ServSafe training

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    High School diploma or equivalent preferred

•    ServSafe Food Handler Certification; will train

•    ServSafe Alcohol Certification: will train

•    Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training; will train

•    Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION

No supervisory responsibilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be physically able to operate a variety of kitchen appliances, equipment and utensils, etc.  Must be able to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift/carry weights of up to 50 pounds. Must be able to frequently immerse hands in water and work in a hot and damp environment.
