Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator

OVERVIEW
Under occasional supervision, provides support and helps facilitate the HR processes. The HR Coordinator will focus heavily on recruitment, posting jobs, onboarding new hires and accuracy of data.  This role will have a good understanding of general HR functions. The Coordinator will provide administrative support to the human resources function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and data entry.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Takes lead in managing the digital onboarding process to include all pre-boarding and onboarding functions: posts jobs, scheduling interviews, extending job offers, checking references, scheduling background checks, communication to applicants, manages process to keep applicants moving through the hiring process
Tracks candidates in HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and responds with appropriate status changes and communication to candidates
Understands background checks, I-9 and E-Verify process
Hires candidates through HRIS; communicates status of new hires to Human Resources Manager
Assists with preparing and maintaining digital and physical employment files and records
Serves as point of contact for candidates and hiring managers during onboarding process
Works in conjunction with Talent Acquisition and Outreach Coordinator in recruiting effort; keeps all job postings and job boards current; assists with HR booth/recruiting during company sponsored events (Earth Day, Sunset Sessions, etc.)
Helps create positive employee relations, represents the company well, understands company structure, and develops departmental rapport with hiring managers; understands needs of hiring managers
Assists in sourcing qualified applicants through internal and external tools and resources, social media, job boards, etc. and communicates with the marketing team as needed
Prepares correspondence, forms, reporting and collecting data as requested
Assists with special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong candidate sourcing skills; organizational and time-management skills
Understands importance of confidentiality; is honest and ethical; handles sensitive information with high degree of integrity
Above average computer skills with knowledge of MS Office; must be detail oriented and have good analytical skills
Possesses excellent database management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong written/verbal communication skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Certificate in Human Resources and/or College degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
2-4 years of Recruitment/Talent Acquisition working in Human Resources field
ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION
No supervisory responsibilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to exert up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed. Most work is sedentary; it may be necessary to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
