Safety Manager – Shift 1

Responsibilities

  • Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
  • Ability to work around moving equipment
  • Identify, develop and implement plant safety programs and strategies
  • Identify, develop, and coordinate safety training
  • Plan, lead and implement and follow-up of plant safety events
  • Analyze and follow-up on all work-related safety incidents
  • Maintain all plant safety information and documentation, including recordkeeping
  • Prepare all presentation material for safety audits
  • Participate in and conduct safety team activities, safety audits, and safety inspections

Qualifications

 

  • Relevant certification in OSHA safety practices
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Training experience is preferred
  • Experience in LOTO process implementation
  • Experience in Hazard recognition and JSA creation
  • Case Management experience
