Salesforce Administrator/Business Analyst

 

Location: Fort Mill, SC

 

Reports to: Manager, Digital Commerce Solutions

 

The Salesforce Administrator role will lead the ongoing development of our salesforce.com platform. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform.

Duties will include daily support and maintenance, enhancements of the internal Salesforce instance, and continuous improvement in operations to ensure compatibility with evolving business requirements. In this role you will communicate with all levels of the business and IT to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment. You will be responsible for leading the scoping, implementation, ongoing administration and training on our Salesforce platform. You will provide subject matter expertise in the evaluation, design, planning and deployment of emerging solutions to drive exceptional user-experiences and increased productivity and growth via our Salesforce platform.

We are seeking a candidate that is a solution provider as well as a proficient Administrator.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 250+ users
  • Manage administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, field configurations, workflows, security settings, page layouts, email templates, custom objects, and other tasks as necessary..
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and recommend best practice solutions to promote process improvement and data integrity.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and preparations for upgrades.
  • Document system configuration, workflows, and field/data mapping.
  • Own functional tasks and deliverables including: process definition, requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, functional design, testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement of business applications/processes
  • Maintain at least high-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities and scope definition in order to make recommendations about potential upstream/downstream integration or functionality intersection points and collaborates with other members in Business and IT for assistance as needed.
  • Be familiar with platform changes made during the Salesforce releases and adhere to best practices for Salesforce processes, data governance, administrative process, and user adoption
  • Utilize a change management process to develop and implement new Salesforce solutions.
  • Work closely with third party partner to implement new solutions and enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to Salesforce users.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and provide solution documentation for review by manager and business leadership.

 

Required/Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, Communications, or other business-related field
  • 5-7 years of marketing, sales and/or business professional-related work experience
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator required
  • Must have Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201) certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning and configuring Lightning components is a must
  • Experience working with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities and Analytics is preferred.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
