Position Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of scheduling of production equipment to control the fulfillment of Inventory levels of finished goods and raw materials to maintain inventory KPI and provide activities to ensure Customer Demand is fulfilled by performing the following duties personally.

• Oversee all aspects of production planning and control and the implementation of associated processes, liaising with the sales and purchasing teams for effective long-term forecasting with the firming of material requirements and balancing of the workflow as well as forecasting long term scheduling and machinery availability using SAP modules PP and MM
• Interact with Coating, Converting and Maintenance Team Leaders to prepare weekly schedules and monthly forecasts
• Create and review BOM, Routings and Packaging Instructions
• Monitor COGI daily and clear while troubleshooting issues
• Update and communicate Scheduling Agreements
• Update KPI Spreadsheets as required
• Support TS16949/IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 as required
• Analyze and review lead times to reflect actual manufacturing processes
• Monitor stock levels and update reports
• Provide customer support as needed
• Lead 5S activities in Team to maintain consistent housekeeping and organization
• Coordinate improvements within Team
• Maintain and create accurate quality system documents
• Address all safety issues for equipment assigned to department
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

Four year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to four years performing production planning in a manufacturing environment.
Read and interpret documents such as schematics, drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of employees.
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and metric system. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, preferably Office 2016 (Microsoft Word document processing software, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook); Internet Explorer browser software; and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with document and data management software is a plus. Must be proficient in using SAP for planning in a manufacturing environment.
