Kronos HR Consultant

  • Job Description

    The Kronos HR consultant will perform implementation, administration, end-user training and support, as well as project management duties. This position will specifically focus on the HR and Talent Acquisitition processes, with some support provided for Payroll related systems and Time and Labor Management processes.  Activities performed by the position will include leading implementation projects for clients, providing application support and follow-up with end users, opening and bringing on-board new acquisitions and new customers, and internal user training.  The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

  • Requirements

    Experience working with Kronos or other cloud based HCM system for 2 plus years.

    Hands on experience as a functional resource.

    Experience working within payroll administration or data migration will be given preference.

     

    Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Strong Communication, Customer Service

  • Summary

    Project Planning & Setup

    • Plan for knowledge enrichment, change management and quality management
    • Conduct estimation of time utilization of different resources and activities
    • Identify appropriate processes based on project landscape
    • Identify gaps and advise on improvements if required
    • Share inputs in creation of project plan with Implementation Manager
    • Validate system build
    • Define standards
    • Provide all support required during presales activities

    Requirement Gathering and Analysis

    • Understand the requirements from clients/ functional consultants
    • Participate in client calls and seek clarifications
    • Create a requirements matrix
    • Provide inputs during creation of operational concepts and scenarios

     

    Design

    • Understand various functional and non-functional requirements
    • Break down requirements into smaller modules
    • Provide input for categorizing critical and non-critical requirements
    • Provide input in designing end to end solution from technical perspective

     

    Validation and Acceptance Testing

    • Review test cases
    • Review, analyze, validate test results
    • Attend QA audits as and when required

     

    Project Closure Activities

    • Create strategy for roll back
    • Monitor processes are being followed
    • Document system changes
    • Resolve issues that arise during project deployment/closure
    • Check that all action items are completed

     

    Service Support and Maintenace

    • Track issue/problem resolution
    • Drive and implement best practices
    • Liaise with business users/SMEs to resolve issues if required
    • Track adherence to SLAs
    • Guide team members in the course of incident/problem management
    • Collage change records

     

    Knowledge Management

    • Create and update knowledge articles in the appropriate repository
    • Provide guidance to team  members to maintain project related documentation
    • Create knowledge articles on problem/workaround strategies
    • Monitor and report usage of knowledge articles

     

    People Management

    • Provide assistance in selection of representative employee groups for training
    • Conduct training
    • Mentor new team members
