Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performs any combination of (but not limited to) the following duties according to the maintenance departmental guidelines:

 

  • Trash pickup from all administrative offices and trash cans placed around the plant (outside bench area trashcans, entrance, breakroom, training room, etc.)
  • Assist operations in cleanup under and around different machine center lines (UT, Green End, Dryers, Sprayline)
  • Maintain hydraulic units free of hydraulic oil, debris & dust
  • Spill cleanup (rain/water spills, hydraulic leaks/spills)
  • Miscellaneous painting projects (handrails, safety walkway rails & floor crossings, hydraulic units)
  • Observe safe work practices and document hazards
  • High Dusting from Aerial Lift
  • Perform other related work as required by the Maintenance Supervisor

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Exposure to usual noise associated in a manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to atmospheric conditions such as heat, cold, fumes, vapors, dust
  • May work in confined spaces
  • May occasionally operate a floor sweeper
  • Occasionally work from a ladder or platform

Hours are primarily Monday – Friday 6:45am – 3:15pm but flexibility in days and times available is required to meet plant needs any day and any shift.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced & changing environment
  • Ability to be certified on Aerial Lift / Forklift
