3D Systems, the leading additive manufacturing solutions provider, is seeking a global Social Media Manager to join our marketing content and communications team in Rock Hill, SC. As a Social Media Manager, you should have excellent multitasking skills to manage our social media presence across multiple platforms and geographies in a cohesive way. If you have a creative way of thinking and of presenting our brand through multiple social media channels, as well as a proven track record of building communities and industry leadership, preferably in a high-tech B2B environment, we would like to make you part of our team.

Primary Job Functions 

  • Own the development of the social media strategy that aligns with our social and brand voice to increase awareness, amplify marketing results and increase sales
  • Research and monitor industry trends and targeted audience personas to understand their interests and behaviors to drive engagement
  • Work collaboratively across the company to curate content that encourages engagement and interaction and awareness of our expertise and leadership in delivering additive manufacturing solutions that address key applications in growing markets
  • Work with public relations and content marketing teams to amplify company news and support global demand campaigns and drive increased lead generation
  • Develop and manage social communities with key influencers and opinion leaders in targeted segments through social listening, identification and collaboration
  • Translate technical application content into engaging social posts and foster meaningful conversations with our target audiences to create communities
  • Proactively develop and propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Work with videographer and graphic designers to create compelling visual content and write engaging posts using the appropriate tone of voice for the audience and channel
  • Prepare and manage communications calendar and execute and manage all posts across platforms
  • Manage conversations and responses in our social accounts and collaborate internally as needed for responses and to direct inquiries
  • Partner with customer support team for best practices and customer service on social platforms
  • Own our social media tool relationships and ensure we are using them to maximum value, as well as make recommendations for adoption and improvement. This includes evaluating new social tools for increased reporting and monitoring capabilities.
  • Own monthly social reporting to highlight top performing content, brand health and audience growth

 

Qualifications

 Qualifications 

  • 8+ years of proven work experience as a social media strategist or social media manager, preferably in a high tech B2B industry
  • Hands on experience using social media for driving growth, building brand awareness and engaging with industry influencers
  • Experience with Hootsuite and/or similar social media management platforms
  • Ability to translate technical content to engaging social content through a deep technical understanding
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and a curiosity to keep ahead of trends and develop industry opportunities
  • An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field
