Warehouse Leader – Food Manufacturing Facility

Carolina Ingredients is currently looking for a Warehouse Leader in the food manufacturing/distribution industry who is passionate about creating value, building partnerships, finding innovative solutions and who has a “get it done right” attitude.
Job Summary: Will provide direction to all Carolina Ingredients, LLC employees related to Inventory Control, Transportation and Warehousing initiatives. Responsible for training and monitoring weekly/monthly key performance indicators around Receiving, Warehousing, Finished Goods, Inventory and 3PL management. Building action plans and helping the Supply Chain Manager execute the project plans for the benefit of CI.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

· Supervise the inventory accuracy for all CI materials and Finished Goods within targets by managing a robust cycle count program and coordinating physical inventory programs.

· Work cross functionally with Third-Party Logistics companies and internal functions (Procurement, Operations, Sales, etc.) to correct Logistical issues.

· Resource to resolve day-to-day operation issues if called upon to do so.

· Be a subject matter expert as it relates to all Warehouse Processes & Procedures.

· Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to improve the Logistics process.

· Identifies training gaps and reports needed for efficient execution of functional responsibilities for personal objectives and objectives of the Team Members.

· Utilize and know the Logistic metrics on weekly/monthly basis to drive accountability.

Required Competencies & Knowledge:

Knowledge of:

· Transportation (FTL, LTL, Expedited Services), Warehousing and Inventory Control

· Knowledge and experience with ERP (MS GP, SAP, etc.) and RF System (Panatrack, etc.)

Skill in:

· Well developed influence management skills

· Experienced in conflict resolution

· Prioritizes work based on short and long-term objectives

· Successfully analyzes and presents data to multiple levels of the organization

· Effective presentation, writing, proposals, business plans, SOP’s

· Leading development and implementation of daily processes and results

· Knowledge of food industry a plus
