Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Setup Operator III (1st Shift) in Fort Mill, SC. This position is responsible for setting up and operating complex work centers at the established rate in accordance wtih the general instructions for manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Sets up, operates and calibrates machines and production equipment
Inspects machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools
Performs routine maintenance and cleaning
Works on highly complex machinery; determines and corrects complex machine malfunctions
Qualified candidates will have:
Associates degree in a technical field, technical certificate, vocational school completion, related experience or work experience in mechanical field
Understanding and fulfillment of all requirements of the Setup Operater II and III
Looking for a horizontal milling center CNC Set Up Operator to operate a Cell Con HMC. Experience with operating a CNC lathe is a plus. Requires editing skills - Fanuc controls. Proficient in reading drawings and precision measurement equipment.

[post_content] => Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Press Setup Operator I- 3rd for our facility in Fort Mill, SC to report to the Supervisor. This position is responsible for producing components that exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Key duties include but not limited to:
Operate and provide complex troubleshooting of a modular and/or progressive press machine
Ensure the quality of parts produced to meet the specified print and standard process control guidelines
Monitor the process to ensure a state of statistical control and capability in meeting internal and external specifications
Qualified candidates will have:
Minimum of two years in manufacturing environment operating complex plant metalworking or related equipment. This experience must involve machine set-up and be on the same machine or machine type as will be responsible for after hire
Previous experience as Trainer
Ability to provide examples of previous complex troubleshooting
Strong mechanical background with troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to work overtime to include weekends
Ability to read/complete blue prints
Adhere to 5S standards
High School Diploma or GED
