Associate Brand manager support the planning and development of annual marketing and business plans that align with organizational goals and objective, aiming to achieve sales growth, profit margins and market share targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assists with the management of the brand portfolios to maximize long-term sales and profit; develop and execute portfolio strategy to build long-term brand health.
Assists Brand Manager with the development of Global brand position, innovation and communication strategies for all products (within a brand) to build consumer demand and market share.
Assist the Brand manager will develop marketing (5P) programs and brand strategy & management for existing brand and new product launches within their brand. Provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies by taking brand ownership. Assist with the development of brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
Assist with the development of the brand standards and design language and ensures consistency with brand positioning.
Brand manager is responsible for the planning and coordination of the marketing and promotional campaigns for assigned product lines. The associate brand manager assists with the coordination of campaigns with retail marketing, sales, digital and e-commerce teams for integrated brand communication plans.
For assigned products, oversees implementation of brand plans, , including:
Preparation of all promotional materials, as needed, Sales literature, Client brochures, Mailings, Print advertisements, Website updates (all Channels), Digital, Social media, Broadcast, Store imaging and descriptions
Coordination of printed packaging material for production
Responsible for analyzing market trends and competitive trends and provides recommendations based on key learnings and execute actionable steps to the brand manager.
Trend Savviness must stay on top of industry trends.
Assists and participates in annual brand planning and budget process to set a fully integrated marketing plan utilizing the full marketing mix of advertising promotions and trade. Responsible for maintaining / tracking approved annual budgets for appropriate segments/ markets
Be familiar with managing all lines of the P&L statement.
Assists with preparation for presentations
Will be expected to act as the brand ambassador for various brands and will assist with the preparation of the training and education of products. Will assist with the training of customer service on new products.
Responsible for specific tradeshow coordination and implementation as required by the business unit
Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives
Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree 1-3 years of marketing experience
Must possess strong organizational, execution and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Entrepreneurial Mindset is mandatory.
Strong experience using MS Office Suite including, Excel, Power Point, etc.
Preffered Experience and Skills
Animal health industry experience or Companion animal/Equine background a plus.
DVM degree a plus.
Sales and Marketing experience in a CPG organization

Nutramax Laboratories has an exciting opportunity for an International Marketing Associate to join its growing international team. In this role, the International Marketing Associate will report to the International Marketing Manager and contribute to the success of Nutramax via managing and implementing the marketing plans for the Veterinary, Retail, and E-commerce channels in key markets with an initial focus on Europe, Canada, and Japan. The International Marketing Associate will work closely with key stakeholders on executing approved marketing plans and ensure international marketing activities are aligned with Area Sales Managers to drive efficiency and consistency in the market. This role is a challenging and exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the growing Nutramax international business and directly influence the P&L.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and support implementing the marketing plans for the Veterinary, Retail, and E-commerce Channels in key markets and evaluate results.
Coordinate with the International Marketing Manager to ensure consistency with the product lines strategy.
Work closely with key stakeholders on executing approved marketing plans and ensure international marketing activities are aligned and executed consistently across markets.
Manage identified product improvements and cost-savings opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Conduct international markets and channel assessments to prioritize and drive market growth and expansion.
Assist in launching new products in Europe, Canada, and Asia across the different distribution channels.
Collaborate with internal and external graphic resources to develop international marketing materials (Brochures, Sell Sheets, Digital & Print Ads.) for the target channels.
Synthesize, frame, and present information to all relevant stakeholders to gain alignment on product strategies and associated marketing plans.
Support the international sales team; with new label update requests, including design, claims, and the needed internal approvals.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of eCommerce content listing.
Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives

Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar fields required.
Minimum of 2 years of marketing or brand management experience domestically or internationally.
Progression of successful accomplishments that includes experience with consumer insights, category analytics, product development, and packaging.
Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend business implications of decisions and display orientation toward maximizing profitability.
Excellent brand management skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to listen and understand different perspectives.
Demonstrated strong analytical ability including drawing focused insights / conclusions from syndicated reports and other data sources.
Pet category experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
