JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
LMS Analyst
Sunbelt’s LMS Analyst is empowered to advise & innovate on trainings, so we can make it happen for our customers.
The LMS Analyst will consult on best practice and innovative use of Sunbelt University (SBU) to deliver complex training programs to end users. In addition, the LMS Analyst will be responsible for providing support and resolving issues for end-users, identifying and implementing continual improvement solutions, and audits of training data to ensure compliance in all areas. SBU is the learning management system that serves as the gateway for new and existing employees to gain access to hundreds of strategic training initiatives.
Position Objective:
The LMS Analyst will consult on best practice and innovative use of Sunbelt University (SBU) to deliver complex training programs to end users. In addition, the LMS Analyst will be responsible for providing support and resolving issues for end-users, identifying and implementing continual improvement solutions, and audits of training data to ensure compliance in all areas. SBU is the learning management system that serves as the gateway for new and existing employees to gain access to hundreds of strategic training initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead workstreams for complex learning management system upgrades with minimal impact on stores and the Support Office. This includes migration to a new LMS platform for employees and customers.
Serve as a subject matter expert on Sunbelt’s learning management system, understanding system functionality and configuration options to the same extent as the vendor SMEs. Remain current on all new releases ensuring that Sunbelt is capitalizing on all new features and benefits.
Ensure system scalability and stability by developing and enforcing standards, policies, processes, workflows and advanced reporting for the learning management system.
Provide best in class customer service by responding timely and accurately as the escalation point of contact for level 2 internal customer needs including reporting or tracking inaccuracies, learning plan issues, system functionality, etc. with a focus on first-time resolution
Manage vendor relationship with third-party courseware vendors.
Remain current on LMS industry trends, vendors and best practices ensuring that Sunbelt’s platform is best-in-class and state-of-the-art relative to emerging technologies
Upload and test online content before publishing to production environment. Maintain all control documentation.
Configure, generate, and distribute custom reports and dashboards
Assist in the development of quality standards and procedures related to the LMS and maintain all processes supporting LMS functionality
3-5 years LMS experience, Cornerstone On-Demand, SumTotal, SuccessFactors or an equivalently complex platform
Demonstrated working knowledge of data management
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to autonomously scope, execute, and implement projects
Ability to prioritize tasks based on business need
Attention to details in all aspects of the position
Demonstrated team player with a customer service-oriented attitude
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
Flexible and pro-active approach to work
Team-oriented approach to work; ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment while developing cross-functional relationships to derive winning solutions
Proven business process, analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of how an LMS application can be utilized to improve business processes
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and tasks for several user groups
Detailed, organized and results oriented
Preferred
Master’s degree in Instructional Technology preferred
Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.
