Required Education/Experience Must have associates degree in a related technical field (4 year degree in Engineering is a plus) 5+ years of electronics manufacturing experience Skills Requirement: Thorough understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical theories (analogs and digital) Qualified/certified IPC-610 and 7711/7721.
Participate in generation of test fixtures per customers’ requirements Make changes or recommend continuous improvement to troubleshooting processes Perform calibrations and repairs of electronic equipment, and use standard test procedures for preventative maintenance on a wide variety of electro-mechanical equipment Troubleshoot, properly repair to component level and maintain accordance with ISO procedures.
Knowledge and experience with ISO9001 standard and quality systems Excellent problem solving, programming, and multitasking skills Troubleshooting skills and experience down to the component level Ability to and experience with operating electronic test and measurement equipment Good basic math skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to work extended hours (OT) if workload requires it.
Responsible for analysis and thorough, detailed repair reports.
