Responsible for providing accurate financial statements and accounting services for the corporation, preparing and maintaining financial records as required in compliance with all federal, state, local and professional requirements. The qualified candidate shall be familiar with a variety of the accounting's concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure the Accounting Objectives are met. He/she relies on relevant experience and judgement to provide assistance in problem solving for all Accounting questions or issues. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare accurate financial statement for management reporting purpose; ensure all financial reports are complied with internal and external reporting requirements.
Perform daily financial entries onto the system including accounts payable, deposits, and all necessary maintenance items.
Prepare and perform various journal entries to maintain the corporation's account books if necessary.
Prepare monthly cash flow report.
Maintain chart of accounts which entailed creating new accounts and remove out of date accounts.
Conduct reconciliation on company bank accounts on weekly/monthly basis; reconcile balance sheet items such as prepayment, deposit, other accruals, etc. monthly.
Perform on time year-end and month-end closing. This includes preparing all necessary closing entries such as accruals, depreciation, and any necessary adjustment entries.
Monitor company assets register such as automobile, furniture and fixtures, computer hardware and software and the corporation's accounting files as needed.
Ensure company’s books of accounts and related matters are handled appropriately and the company’s accounting systems are maintained according to the company’s procedures.
Ensure all A/P and A/R transaction entries are system-integrated to the proper G/L accounts; maintain all general ledger accounts on a regular basis including reconciling sub-ledgers with G/L accounts.
Assist in periodic audits, inventory physical count, prepare necessary documentation and any required information requested by auditors.
Reconcile inventory reports. Identify and report any issues to management. Liaison with other departments to resolve issues.
Assist in monitoring departmental budgets throughout the year and report any significant deviations to management with analysis detailing the cause for the deviation and corrective action(s) necessary.
Recommend solutions to any accounting related issues using accounting systems and procedures when necessary.
Liaison with company CPA for any tax-filing issues and provides all information requested.
Improve the efficiency in the workflow of accounting department.
Participate in weekly accounting meeting to point out problems and difficulties encountered and to provide solutions.
Prepare ad hoc reports to manager, controller, and CFO.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary: Experienced Financial Analyst working directly with Business Unit Finance and IT Leader in support of strategic areas such as an IT Finance Lead and FP&A. This role will add other key Finance projects at the CFO’s direction as the individual comes up to speed and bandwidth allows.
Working with IT Leader, forecast, track and report on IT Budgets and Actual spend.
Evaluate impact of changes in IT strategy through what-if analysis, including cost and other implications.
Provide Finance support for IT Business Partners and FP&A.
Support ad hoc projects with Business Partner, EVP and CFO visibility, such as Sales efficiency, working with BU Finance teams, provide metrics and analysis around sales coverage and effectiveness.
Assist in financial process design and continuous improvement as well as policy development initiatives that impact the finance function globally
Qualifications
Education and Training
B.A. Degree in relevant field required, MBA preferred.
Minimum of three years’ of work experience
Experience
5+ years of financial analyst experience is required
Budgeting, Actuals reporting experience is required
Experience with Finance in a global manufacturing company is required
Strong understanding of accounting policies and financial processes
Highly proficient with accounting systems, Excel and other analytic tools
Oracle and Noetix experience preferred

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing reporting and forecasting tools in support of the Materials and Services organizations. The Senior Analyst will work in conjunction with Materials and Services leadership to create and develop analytics that will aid in the execution/achievement of business targets. This position reports to the VP of Finance for Industrial Solutions.
Primary Job Functions
Partner with Materials and Services businesses & finance teams to achieve quarterly financial targets & initiatives
Lead Region Weekly forecast review/rollup in close partnership with service & finance leadership
Prepare weekly and monthly analysis of performance results vs budget and forecast
Analyze and report on variances between budgeted, forecasted and actual results
Review and analyze sales deals in order to ensure overall financial objectives are met
