Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred. Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting or 1-year ABA Experience. If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting. You will have the opportunity to work with an all male population in a 1:1 setting. You will work with a multi-dimensional team including ABA clinicians leading individual and group therapy, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, and special education teachers. The Human Resource Staffing Supervisor is responsible for the daily staffing requirements of the facility. This includes, filling understaffed shifts and supervising all Pool status staff.
Responsible for the supervision of all Pool status staff >80. This includes the handling of Pool personnel issues (time and attendance, disciplinary actions), the tracking of all required trainings and credentialing for these staff, tracking of their availability on a monthly basis, and maintaining contact with these staff members.
Responsible for one or two shifts of the facility; this includes all 8 programs, their schedules- populating and filling using pool availability; Approving all requests to work, trades and offers; Working with Team Supervisors and Residential Managers on staffing and scheduling changes.
Collaborate with Recruiting Department providing hiring needs for all programs and shifts based on need.
Assumes responsibility for training all incoming Pool employees from orientation and transfers.
Receives and approves all time off (vacation, sick, leave of absences, military leave, etc) for specific shift as designated (shared responsibility).
Maintains schedule of availability for designated staff (shared responsibility).
Confirms and submits Pool staff hours in Time and Attendance system and submits to Payroll. (This includes editing and approving time cards of pool employees using time sheets.)
Maintains awareness of overtime hours worked by staff and conveys information to Director of Human Resources. (Shared responsibility)

New Hope Carolinas is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), fully accredited by the Joint Commission. This setting also operates a fully accredited private school and offers comprehensive medical/dental care and recreational therapy services on site.
Our nurses provide daily vitals, daily care of quarantine residents, pass medications to quarantine residents. Admissions, Under general supervision, plans and directs nursing care for the residents in accordance with established philosophies. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments; participates in all phases of education and the maintenance of records. The Building Services Technician I is responsible for assisting the Director of Physical Plant Operations in the overall upkeep of the facility campus. The unique job functions outlined are designed with a focus on safety and quality.
Performs maintenance walk thorough of all areas of the building to find and correct problems.
Performs routine maintenance in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
Maintains HVAC equipment, including room units, area systems, water chillers, water towers, air handlers, boilers and water heaters.
Maintains kitchen ice machines, coolers, freezers, range, vent/makeup air systems, water heaters, and dishwashing equipment.
Maintains lighting, electrical, and water systems; in addition to maintaining laundry equipment.
Is on call and emergency call as required.
Keeps maintenance area and equipment clean and functional; Assures cleanliness of all area sumps and drainage systems.
Assures proper use of safety equipment.
Monitor and perform basic operation/maintenance of fire/alarm/security systems.
Clean vents and light fixtures in all rooms as needed; clean vent hood in the kitchen as needed.
Provides continuous painting and repair of walls.
Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Physical Plant Operations.

The Dietary Technician (cook) is primarily responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a resident nutritional need are met though meals and snacks that insure nutritional value. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to ensuring that all dietary areas met JCAHO and DHEC sanitation and safety standards. Reviews menus prior to preparing food items, and prepares and serves menu items in conjunction with planned menus, portion control and Resident Diet & Allergy List.
Prepares all foods in a manner that will ensure the utmost in quality and with minimum of waste/or shrinkage.
Does all necessary preparation of menu items for the following day’s menu.
Prepares, set-up, serve and clean up salad bar items and area.
Ensure that required temperatures for refrigeration, freezers, food items and other regulated items/area are taken, recorded and corrective action taken if necessary.
Assist with the preparation, set-up, serving, and clean up of all meals.
Assist with the cleaning of all equipment and areas in the Dietary department to include the café to ensure a safe and sanitary department.
Washes dishes /silverware, pots and pans according to dishwashing procedures, which allows for proper air dying of these items.
Empties trash, sweeps, mops all dietary department area at the end each shift.
Assist with putting up stock using the First in First Out Method (FIFO) to include dating all items.
Ensure that all items once opened are properly sealed, labeled and dated.
Leaves all kitchen and café work areas clean, sanitized, stocked and in order and ready for the next shift.
